Hirotaka (main male) is a little dense occassionally, but not to the extent of ignorance, so he won't make you annoyed at how nothing seems to be moving in the story. It also has a pair of side characters that seem to have a very good relationship.Ĭharacters are really relatable and very cute. This story is really cute, much like Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun, but with a developing relationship instead of a crush. Overall: 9/10 (because the story has yet to advance far enough for me to give a perfect score) Worth reading if you're interested in some adult's love situation. WotaKoi is a wholesome love story that has each character's reasonable motive. It's better to savor every chapter's worthwhile reading instead. Very easy to read together with a surprisingly clean art style so you can read through this manga for several days.

However, this manga's realistic dialogues strike a chord with you in every way. The main story isn't too serious like general romance. Naoya's kindness like an angel is connected with Kou's inner consideration. You should pay attention to Naoya (Hirotaka's younger brother) and Kou, too. That interaction makes them strengthen their hearts. Koyanagi can notice Kabakura's advantages and weak points. Kabakura knows Koyanagi's worries and thoughts. No spoilers but their breakup never happen. They often argue due to differences in values but they're so close they fight. They're trustworthy sociable person who has hidden otaku hobbies. It can also be said Kabakura and Koyanagi. Slow-paced but you can understand their change and its significance. Just like they help each other in the online game. They usually have fun talking about random topics though, it's proof of friendship.

In other words, Hirotaka and Narumi's chemistry is outstanding. Her actions in front of Hirotaka are defenseless. She shows her euphemistic awkwardness in many scenes despite being aware of it. It means she is sensitive to someone's feelings. She loves BL as same as Koyanagi but is not a bad woman. Narumi is a fujoshi who has very strong communication skills and various hobbies. It's because of their irreplaceable childhood that they get very close even now. His delicate heart leads Narumi eventually to pure love. He is attentive and good at his work contrary to appearances. Hirotaka is a core gamer who has memorable childhood with Narumi. Hirotaka, Narumi, Kabakura, Koyanagi are central figure in this manga. That's how much they're lovey-dovey in a good way. To be honest, I think the title itself is misleading. Some chapters are laughable, some chapters are heartwarming.

The main characters are office workers who have humorous and interesting personalities. You should know what that means if you're a student or working adult. Distinguishing between reality and fiction is also important at the same time. I'm enjoying my time while hiding identity from people, too. "I don't want other people to know that." Everyone does. But if too enthusiastic about something, it's called otaku. Or could a relationship between two otakus work?įollowing the relationship of Narumi and Hirotaka as they begin dating, Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii is a light-hearted story about those who try to balance work, relationships, and hobbies.Īnime, Manga, Novel, Drama, Films, Video Games, etc. But she is hesitant-otakus are typically perceived as gross, and the only ones who can understand them are otakus themselves. While having drinks to catch up, Hirotaka advises Narumi to date someone who would understand her hobbies. At her new workplace, the only colleagues who know about her secret are her childhood friend Hirotaka Nifuji, a blunt gaming otaku Hanako Koyanagi, a cool and mature-looking beauty and Tarou Kabakura, an attractive guy with a scary face who always gets into fights with Hanako. After a breakup due to these kind of interests, she quits her job and joins a new company. In other words, she is a closet otaku and more specifically, a fujoshi. EditSynopsis Narumi Momose is a petite and cute young woman who loves idols, games, and everything anime or manga-related, especially in the boys' love genre.
